Working Out In Wilmington

Last week work took me to Wilmington, Delaware, for a trial. Our schedule was grueling, but each day I managed to drag myself out of bed with just enough time to squeeze in a workout and Starbucks run before I had to meet with my team. Working out in Wilmington wasn’t as fun as Hell Week, but it got me through.

Back In Action

This was my first week back in action after being sidelined with DVT blood clots. It was so good to see my favorite fitness instructors again, I don’t even mind the additional sweaty laundry.

If It’s Not One Thing It’s Another

On Friday I marked 3 weeks of being on blood thinners to treat my DVT blood clots, and my doctor confirmed that I can get back to running. While I am partially cleared on that condition, I also learned that I have hyperthyroidism.The good news is that explains my recent weight loss and struggles with running. The bad news is that until it gets corrected, I am still going to struggle.
