Fun At The Valmont Bike Park

We had a great time visiting my daughter in Colorado, and packed a lot of fun into our weekend visit. One thing she had been planning for a long time took me way outside of my comfort zone–going to the Valmont Bike Park.

2019 Pennsylvania Dutch Farm To Fork Fondo

In August we participated in the Pennsylvania Dutch Farm To Fork Fondo for the fourth year in a row. While folks usually say the third time’s the charm, this time was pretty charming too.

This year’s event had a new host farm and a new route, but still had the whoopie pies and dairy-fresh ice cream I’ve come to rely on to get up and over the hills of Lancaster County.

August Runfessions–July Corrections

August felt like a long month, and I’ve amassed quite a few runfessions. I’m more than ready to make my way to the runfessional at Marcia’s Healthy Slice to bare my soul soles and get a fresh start for September.
