Vacation On My Mind — The August Coffee Date

Welcome to the August Ultimate Coffee Date! Some people switch to iced coffee in the heat, but I prefer hot coffee no matter the weather. Deborah and I are glad you are participating in our virtual get-together by linking up your post about what’s going on in your life and visiting and commenting on other coffee date posts. We know it’s a big vacation weekend, and appreciate you stopping by! ultimate coffee date

Catching A Cool Front

What a difference a week makes! I spent last week hiding from a heat wave, and did most of my workouts inside in the A/C. This week, a cool front came through on Monday, and the rest of the week I spent as much time as possible outside.

July Runfessions

Did the last Friday of July sneak up on you like it did to me?  Thank goodness I saw Marcia’s reminder on Facebook, or I would have missed the July Runfessions link up. It always feels good to bare my soul soles and come clean at the runfessional over at Marcia’s Healthy Slice.

Thanks to Lacey and Miranda for the Fairytales and Fitness Friday Five link up.

Make plans to join the August Ultimate Coffee Date next weekend — Deborah and I will open the (link-up) doors on Friday, and keep the coffee brewing.

Maybe it makes more sense to mark an event in another country’s history rather than celebrate that country, especially when the event is said to have inspired our own fight for independence.
