Biking Into July

I’m not going to whine about my Achilles. I’m just going to get on with it. So, grab your helmet and join me as I start biking into July.

Biking Into July

July 4th weekend was all about riding outside  After we joined the Conte’s hill ride on Saturday and did a long ride ending up at our local brewery on Sunday, my legs were pretty tired. On Monday I couldn’t avoid a 10 am conference call with a client in India, so we got an early start on our ride and didn’t dally along the way.

I had just enough time to shower before my call!

I gave my legs a break on Tuesday, but knocked out a few more rides from the Peloton All For One Music Festival collection on Wednesday and Thursday.

Honestly, Alex’s warm-up ride was harder than the others!

The rest of my week was spent in Vermont for my son’s wedding!

Working out was not my priority, but I had time in the morning to do some short bodyweight workouts in our hotel room.

After two weeks off from running my Achilles is feeling better, but it’s not miraculously cured. Will I go for a third week? Will I make July 2021 the opposite of July 2020, when I ran every day?

Your son got married- CONGRATULATIONS!!! What a huge event in your life.
Sounds like you’re enjoying your workouts. As long as not running isn’t making you depressed (there will be time for that later) maybe you should take a little more time off. Just to be sure!

  9. I seemed to have missed this post. I’m sorry it’s still bothering you, Coco. Mine actually did feel normal after a week off of running but i never know how long that will last. Lovely to be in VT — a great place for a wedding — at least in the Summer. 🙂
