Which Vacation Are You?

I’ve gotten into a habit of watching the morning news while I’m doing my strength workouts. It’s enough to keep me entertained, but not so engrossing that I catch myself resting longer than I need to between sets so I don’t miss anything. (I save that kind of TV-watching for the treadmill!) Lately two commercials have caught my attention, and they often run back-to-back.

Which Vacation Are You

The first one is for Park City, Utah.

The second one is for a resort in Florida.

After a while, I noticed that the first one really got my attention, while the second one just wan’t enticing. Don’t get me wrong, I love going to the beach, but I really want to go skiing!

I have come to realize that my “ideal” vacation is one where I can enjoy being active outside, and hiking, biking, and skiing come to mind as my favorite vacation activities. (I love running, but my husband doesn’t!) We are planning our Grand Canyon vacation for later this year, and there will be lots of hiking! The question is, can we squeeze in any skiing before spring?

Honestly? I’m ANY kind of vacay! It just feels good to relax! Because we have such wicked winters here, a tropical place appeals to me. But I rarely lie on the beach. Love me some biking/hiking/kayaking/zipline, you name it!

  8. I don’t like snow so that knocks out number one.
I’d love to go somewhere active though, maybe hiking.
