I’m going to have fun with today’s Friday Five topic (Fitness Snapshots) and share photos of my five favorite fitness activities. Don’t worry, I promise they aren’t all sweaty selfies! I’d love it if you’d share your favorite on Pinterest!
1.Running. First and foremost, I’m a runner.
This picture captures how thrilled I was to finally run
a good Lawyers Have Heart 10K.
This picture captures the simple pleasure of a post-race beer.
2. Cycling. Cycling with my true love is my second love.
This is one of my favorite cycling pictures,
and not just because I’m at the beach. 🙂
I think this one was taken near the beach too.
3. Spinning. I never would have guessed that I would like spinning
–let alone love it–but I do!
4. Weight Training. I also enjoy my weight training workouts.
It’s hard to take a selfie while you’re working out with weights,
but I have this collage from a hotel gym in New York City.
5. Planks. Maybe planks are not really one of my favorite things to do,
but since I learned that a weak core was the source of my nagging ITB issues,
I try to do several sets of different plank variations at least a few times a week.
As if holding a plank isn’t hard enough,
try doing it while you try to perfect your form and take a picture!
I wish I had noticed that my foot was askew!
