I finally got to put my toes in the sand and enjoy a few days of fun at Rehoboth Beach. It had been three years, but one thing that makes going to Rehoboth Beach so relaxing is that so much stays the same from year to year.
The beach, the boardwalk–even the benches–make it Rehoboth.
Thankfully this week was less eventful than last, and my mood was helped with the prospect of my upcoming vacation. My legs still felt like lead, the humidity was still oppressive, and mosquitoes still ruined every time it was nice outside, but that’s OK, I’ll be at the beach soon.
I felt off-kilter and out of sorts this week. Maybe because it started with a day trip to NYC. Or because my husband ended up in the ER on Tuesday (he’s OK). Or because, after being in overdrive for two weeks, I had nothing pressing at work.

The last week of July was a roller coaster ride at work. Usually when I have a busy week ahead I can put in a few hours over the weekend to take the pressure off, but this time there wasn’t anything I could do–except maybe catch up on my sleep!
I needed Wonder Woman’s help to get through the week!
Throughout the week we were tag-teaming our project, so I had down time in between working over time, but it still added up to way too many hours working at my computer.
