Last weekend we visited my daughter in Boulder, Colorado. It was a crazy trip–I got home from Copenhagen on Thursday afternoon, unpacked, did laundry, and re-packed for our 8 am flight on Friday–but it was worth it to see her and celebrate her college graduation. Plus, I never get tired of looking at the Boulder Flatirons.
We hit the ground running on Friday, meeting my daughter for brunch and then going shopping at the Pearl Street Mall. We didn’t check into our hotel until a torrential rain storm came through, causing flash flood warnings.
It didn’t take long for the storm to blow over, but there were still a few lingering clouds.
Saturday morning I woke up to blue skies and pink clouds.
I left my husband to go for a run. Yes, I felt guilty, but this view was worth it. 😉

Wow you travel a lot! Those are gorgeous pics! Congrats on your daughter’s graduation. We are are going out to Aspen next month and look forward to running out there if I can stand the altitude. Didn’t go well last time.
I haven’t been to Aspen since I was a kid. When I ran in Boulder last year I sparked my asthma that had been dormant for years. 🙁

Ps. While vacationing, I would rather sneak to the hotel’s breakfast buffet by myself than sneak out for a run. But you know that about me already.
Hah! My husband and I did go out for breakfast before the kids got up — and we went to breakfast again.
