Denver Colfax Half Marathon Race Recap

How could a race that took me through the Denver Zoo and a fire station, had a big expo and a great after-party leave me feeling so meh? That’s what I’ve been trying to figure out as I put together my Denver Colfax Half Marathon race recap.

As I runfessed, my official finish time was 1:56:03 including my tiger stop.

May Runfessions

How is it time for our monthly Runfessions already? Maybe it’s a good thing the last Friday of the month came so early, since I’ve got plenty to runfess already. It always feels good to bare my sole and take a deep cleansing breath before moving on to a new month.

Link up your own runfessions at Marcia’s Healthy Slice and join the Friday Five link up at Running On Happy and Fairytales and Fitness. Next weekend Deborah and I will be kicking off summer with the June Ultimate Coffee Date, so make sure you join us.

I made it to the Garden Center this weekend,
so those planters aren’t empty anymore!

Driving home on a recent rainy day I felt sorry for a runner out in the elements, but then realized she might be enjoying herself more than I was. That was the genesis of my Ode To a Rainy Day Runner.
