So, what made last week crazy?

Wednesday I had to take my Mom and son to the airport at 6:15 am, and then I had a dentist appoint at 8:50. I crossed my fingers that I would be out of there by 9:30 so I could make a 10:00 am class at RevolveDC and I just made it!

Thursday I was out the door at 5:05 am to meet some MRTT friends to run hill repeats for breakfast. Between that hard workout, probably not hydrating well enough, and the start of my period, I ended up with a killer headache. Since I couldn’t focus at work anyway, I left early and did a 4 mile run from home–my second “double” run day.

Friday I was supposed to pick my Mom and son up from the airport at 10:00 pm, but when their flight was delayed for a few hours, they decided to take a cab home. I set my alarm for 4:40 am for my 5:30 am MRTT group run, and went to bed at about 10:30. At 12:30 they texted me that they were just getting ready to depart! When my son got home at 4:15 am, I got up to greet him and offer him sympathy for his rough trip home, and then crawled back in bed to snooze for a few more minutes.

I felt surprisingly great during my long run, but I forgot to lock my iPhone, and it must have detected incorrect password attempts so it wiped itself clean! I had to restore it from an iCloud backup when I got home. I lost the pictures I took before my run, and now I’ve got to figure out how to make sure that doesn’t happen again. 🙁

Has your week been crazy or calm?
