Playing To Win

This post includes a review of the Victoria’s Secret Incredible sport bra. Influenster provided me with complimentary Victoria’s Secret products to test and review as part of a contest.

I have a friend who is very competitive. She doesn’t like to play if she doesn’t think she can win–or at least make a good showing. Sometimes I am jealous of her tenacity, but other times I think she is missing out.

Playing To Win
I can be competitive too, but I don’t mind trying something new even if I am pretty sure that I will suck. I certainly believe in giving it my all and playing to win, but I can define winning as doing my best and having fun.

Maybe it’s because my kids are older and I no longer have to “let” them win once in a while, but I know that winning isn’t every thing. These days, spending time together playing a game or trying a new activity is its own reward–even if I “lose” by a landslide.

Victoria’s Secret is playing to win with their new line of sport bras. Influenster sent me a Victoria’s Secret Incredible sport bra to review, and I put it to the test at my friend’s gym, running 20 minutes on the treadmill and then doing a 20 minute full-body strength routine.

Victorias Secret Sport Bra

(I’ll let you go to the Victoria’s Secret website for a front view!)

The Incredible model has maximum support with underwiring and breathable padding with a wicking liner. I wasn’t sure about the padding since I get so sweaty, but it didn’t bother me. I was comfortable wearing it without a shirt on the gym treadmill–it provides full coverage–and I love the design of the back. It comes in 23 colors and patterns although I don’t see my yellow one on their website. The laundry instructions say machine wash and tumble dry. I air dry all of my workout clothes, but it’s good to know that this bra can go in the washing machine.

Do you think there’s a difference between giving it your all and playing to win?

Do you hand wash your sport bras?

  1. Ohhh, that looks like an awesome sports bra. I don’t invest a lot on my sports bras like I should. I usually get the cheap Champion ones from Target, but I love them and they work for me.

  2. I did not know they had any with underwire-that’s a must for me. I spend so much money on sports bras. I do wash them by hand.

  3. That looks like it has good support. I like the extra clasp in the back, it was probably easy to get on. I machine wash and line dry all of my workout clothes.

  4. That’s a cute bra! Thanks for the review!

I always play to win but feel like I’m still a good sport when I don’t win!
I machine wash & dry all my workout stuff (except compression) – good thing I don’t buy pricey stuff!
