I love my mom’s cranberry sauce. She uses fresh berries, lots of orange zest, and whole cinnamon sticks in her recipe. It really is good enough to eat with a spoon, but I usually restrain myself, and opt for one of these uses for cranberry sauce instead:
Cranberries on my whole grain Kashi® waffle.
Cranberries on my peanut butter toast.
Cranberries in my plain Chobani® yogurt.
What is your favorite Thanksgiving leftover?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE

me some berries of the cran-variety.
i love my mom's cranberry sauce too! make it every year. the cinnamon sticks are what make it!
I make a similar recipe with whole cinnamon sticks and other whole spices that are removed before serving. AND, I have a ton leftover and was just wondering what to do with them. Good ideas!
