    That's weird and cringe inducing.

      There were other ones that he painted over with neon acrylic paints. And, pictures of him dropping others on the floor to break them. That's the kind of art that needs an explanation — I am sure there are political messages!

      One very moving piece was an arrangement of steel reinforcing beams in a wave like pattern, with a crevice in the middle — the beams all came from the schools that collapsed in the earthquake.

      He painted over an ancient urn. I'm sure there's lots of symbolism and meaning in it.
