For the first time in a long time, the weather for the 2019 Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run was on the warm side. For the first time ever, I actually looked forward to Hains Point, because I knew there would be a breeze off the water!

Cherry Blossoms In Bloom

The cherry blossoms reached peak bloom this week, and while the weather wasn’t quite ready to commit to spring, we were graced with a few gorgeous days in between the grey ones.

I wanted to make sure I got to see the blossoms before the weekend, so I made myself go for a run after work.

Being An Ambassador For Christ

In the social media world, it’s not unusual to be an “ambassador ” for a company or brand you like. The responsibilities and perks can vary from brand to brand, but usually involve promoting the brand’s products or services in exchange for free products, discounts, access to special events, and/or monetary payment. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5: 20 that we are ambassadors for Christ. What do you think the responsibilities and perks are for that role?

Running In Brickell Miami

After a few days at home, I headed back to downtown Miami to spend another week working out of our Miami office. I had early meetings the first few days, but Thursday morning I had no specific commitments before my flight home. Instead of trying to find the right bridge to Miami Beach, I decided to go running in Brickell Miami towards Virginia Key and Key Biscayne.

Now that’s a Miami view!

Brickell Avenue is lined with tall bank buildings, gated condo complexes, and high-end hotels. All in all, it seemed like a nicer business district than downtown Miami, but I did notice that I didn’t see any Starbucks!
