Running With Perseverance

Christmas is going to be different this year, but just like the Grinch couldn’t really steal Christmas, the coronavirus won’t cancel my Christmas. Celebrating safely will require changes to our usual traditions, but Christmas is still coming, even though the coronavirus hasn’t (yet) disappeared.

Double the houses, double the fun!

If you lost a family member or friend to covid-19, it may feel like coronavirus has cancelled your Christmas. My heart goes out to you. I hope you are able to find some peace and comfort and know that you are not alone in these difficult times.

For some reason work was crazy busy this week. Even though I came close to burning the midnight oil a few nights, I managed to enjoy a week of festive workouts to keep me in the holiday mood and balance out all that sitting in front of my computer. One upside of dark o’clock runs is being able to enjoy the holiday lights in my neighborhood.

Now that Thanksgiving is behind us, the countdown to Christmas is on! Luckily I caught the Christmas spirit this weekend. I decorated our tree, did what little Christmas shopping I plan to do, and bought stamps for holiday cards.
