Wrapping Up The Holidays

Happy Boxing Day! I hope you had a Merry Christmas if you celebrate, and a good Saturday if you don’t. I’m glad to report that I managed to shut down my work computer after doing only a few hours of work on Christmas Eve ….

I promise I’m only on-line to keep up with friends today!

Can you believe the last runfessions of 2021 is on Friday? Deborah and I will be hosting the first coffee date of 2022 on January 7! We hope to see you there.

Wrapping Up The Holidays

Since my daughter is still visiting, I’m going to keep this short. I kept up with my Peloton workouts, completed the 12 Days of Fitmas, and got in a few runs with Scooby.

Did you make it through?

Happy Holidays from all of us!

A huge thank you to Deborah and Kim for hosting the Weekly Run Down link up.

Have you set any goals for 2022 yet?

I am so glad that your daughter is visiting and that you are able to take some time off to spend w her. Enjoy that family time together! It is so hard to let them go back after they come home. Merry Christmas!

Yay for finally having some time off work! Enjoy it, Coco!
If I remember correctly, your son is honeymooning in Germany, right?
    I hope he’s enjoying it!

I’m glad to see you got a break from work! Do you have to work this upcoming week? I do…

  4. Marcia says:

How fun to have your daughter there for the holidays! I’m glad you were able to take a break from work for a bit. No 2022 goals as yet but I’m thinking about it!

It’s been two years since she was here, although we’ve seen her twice in between. It’s nice to have time to chill together.

  5. It’s nice to shut-down the work computer, huh! I’m taking my work along with me, as is the hubs…working remote is pretty easy these days. That said, I took this coming week as PTO because the logistics are just not going to be conducive for working…and that’s alright. I may regret that decision next Monday morning…

Glad you had some great family time 😉

Happy to hear that you are taking time off to enjoy the holidays.

I worked Friday and am working all next week.. Saving up my time to go to Florida in Feb.

I’m glad that you were able to shut down your work laptop on Christmas Eve and enjoy the holiday weekend. I’m working all next week, except for Friday, but hoping to use the quiet time to catch up on a few projects!

Glad you had a nice Christmas! Enjoy your time with your daughter- my son is home and I love it.
Nice job of keeping up the workouts, when things must have been so busy! I hope you have some more time off this coming week.

    • Coco says:

I think I’ll be able to keep work to 1/3 time or 1/2 time overall. I’m getting my booster on Wednesday so planning for down time after that too.

  9. I think it’s important to enjoy the family while you’ve got them, so no worries on a short post! Happy Holidays, Coco — no goals for me really.

    • Coco says:

Yep! If there’s one thing the pandemic taught me it’s to make my family and friends a top priority. Plus, being an early bird I can sneak in a bit of work in the morning if I really need too. 😉

Glad the work computer is shut 🙂 You need a break! How lovely to have your daughter home. Enjoy, happy holidays!

  11. Yay for shutting down your laptop! I hope you’re getting a break this week.

Enjoy every moment of having your daughter home 🙂

  12. Cari says:

I feel you on the work creep. I had an SOS on Christmas Eve but literally could do nothing about it other than flag for someone else as I didn’t have my laptop. Oops.
Love how Scooby is between you and the lights, protecting you.
Glad your daughter was able to get home.

Happy day! I am so glad you posted about the runfessions and coffee date. I’m making the adjustment to the calendar now.

So glad you were able to get a little break work. Enjoy your daughter and give Scooby a big kiss from me and Luna.

  14. I hope you’re having a somewhat relaxed week with minimal work. I’m working my regular hours since I took time off for the wedding and to help my mom. A few clients are traveling so at least it’s a lighter week for me, too.
