I Want To Run
When I’m not running, I notice other runners.
I am jealous of their freedom, their endorphins,
their sweat.
I want to run.
When I’m not running, I notice other runners.
I want to move my legs, use the full capacity of my lungs,
push past my mental barriers.
I want to run.
When I’m not running, I notice other runners.
I miss my running shoes, my running friends,
my runner’s high.
I want to run.
[Tweet “The Poem of an Injured Runner: I Want to Run”]
I know this must be so tough for you!! Know that resting and recovering is best for right now and this, too, shall pass. Hold on!!!
Oh, I feel your pain! Hang in there and keep coming up with fun poems!
Gosh I feel you it is so hard to see everyone running when you cannot. How’s it feeling? Healing? I did something to my foot yesterday and it still hurts today. Funny how that just happens isn’t it?
I do feel your pain. I have been there, out and going crazy…
Stick with healing though, it’ll make your runs better later.
I hope it will not be much longer. You can do this healing thing!
I so so feel your pain! I really hope you’re back to running soon. What’s your prognosis?
Oh you know I feel your pain too! I hope that our bodies decide that we’ve been patient enough and heal quickly. xo
Hang in there !

I can feel your pain my friend. I pray to my almighty that he heals your pain & you come up with your running shoes, move your legs with full potency, feel your freedom, sweat & enjoy the moment. I wish that day will come soon. Have your patience everything will be alright.
