With only a few weeks left in 2014, I’ve been reflecting on the year and starting to make plans for 2015. Today’s Tuesdays On The Run theme is “Show Off Your Bling,” so what better time to bask in the glow of my 2014 races?
(Check out my Race Recaps page for more details!)
I started the year with a bang earning a PR at the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run, and went on to earn course PRs at the GW Parkway Classic, Lawyers Have Heart 10K, and Army 10 Miler! I shook up my routine with Ragnar training, and ended up loving the Ragnar craziness so much that I’ve already signed up for a 2015 team!
My first race on the calendar for 2015 is the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run on April 12 (have you entered the lottery yet?), followed two weeks later by the GW Parkway Classic. I know I can’t count on another year of PRs, but I am counting on another great year of running.

Was 2014 a good year for you?
What are you looking forward to in 2015?
2014 was a rough year….lots of races, lots of deferrments and a few DNS. A rough marathon too. I’m hoping to turn all of that around this year!
Congrats on a great year of running!! Your medals look great! I signed up for the lottery for the Cherry Blossom, hoping that I’ll get in–first timer! I’m so envious of you doing Ragnar–that’s definitely a dream of mine!
ooh I like that little video thing you have going on there. Looks like you had an amazing year of races. I had a number of injuries this year and I am hoping 2015 brings me more luck and speedier times
Yay for a great year! 2014 was awesome for the first half and then kind of fell apart, but I have no one to blame but myself LOL. Fingers crossed I’ll be running Cherry Blossom and then GW…
Congratulations on all your races of 2014. Especially on your PR. Wy to go. Cute slide show.
Yay you! Such a great year of running!
2014 was an AWESOME year for me since I quit my job and launched my own business. I am grateful every single day when I wake up and have my own business to attend to. Nutrition and fitness have moved to the sidelines a little, so that’s one of the things I’m looking forward to improving on in the new year!
Sounds like a wonderful year! I’m hearing more and more about MRTT and thinking I really need to look into it. Thanks for linking up with us today!
Congrats on a great year!! 2014 was good to me. If you asked me this time last year where I would be running wise – I would have never imagined how I progressed to this point.
Wow! 2014 was an awesome year for you. So many great experiences.
you had a great year of running! this was such an interesting year of running for me! 3 marathons (plus a 17 mile effort that i had to DNF) plus many shorter races. i need to get all my thoughts together!! i’m crossing my fingers for cherry blossom as well!
What a great year!!! Happy Awesome 2015 too.
