Three Things Thursday

Hotels In Switzerland

As I was getting ready for my business trip to Europe this week, I procrastinated tackling that dreaded chore of packing by looking at my pictures from last year’s trip to Switzerland. I realized that my pictures of hotels in Switzerland were perfect for a Three things Thursday post.

The first hotel I stayed at in Switzerland was in Lucerne. It had this fantastic view:

The next hotel in Switzerland was in Lausanne. It had this fantastic view:

The third hotel was at the Zurich airport. It had this craptastic view:

Sometimes you have to choose convenience over luxury!

Have you stayed in a hotel room with a horrible view?

Do you mind paying extra for a better view?

  1. That Lucerne view is amazing. Didn’t you stay somewhere in the US with a parking lot view too? Or am I remembering your trip last year? Is Switzerland more scenic than Denmark? recently posted…A week of Nourish – Move, Nourish, Believe ChallengeMy Profile

Those first 2 views are amazing!! I hope you are enjoying nice views this trip! I’m usually more about the view than convenience when I travel (other than convenience to the beach which is a must!!).
