Kona Kase Review

Healthy Snacks Delivered To Your Door!

When my kids were little, we subscribed to a Dr. Seuss-themed book-of-the-month club (which explains why we have lesser known Dr. Seuss books like The Foot Book) and a Parents Magazine toy-of-the-month club (which sent us some favorites), but I’ve never subscribed to a food-of-the-month club–although I’ve drooled over the offerings from Harry & David!

Through my affiliation with Fitfluential, I was given a chance to try out Kona Kase, which is snack-of-the-month club–a monthly subscription service for healthy snack foods. So, here is my Kona Kase review.

Each monthly shipment ($15, shipping included) usually includes 8-10 different products designed to “help you fuel peak performance.” I smiled when I opened my package and read this fun quote.

When I checked out the contents, I saw some things I hadn’t tried before,
and some things I knew I liked.

My favorite new find is the Half Pops.

According to the packaging, they are partially popped popcorn. The ingredient list is simple: popcorn, canola oil, butter, and sea salt. The size and crunch reminds me of soy nuts, but these are much better, and have only 130 calories in a 1 oz serving.

I hadn’t tried Will Bar before, but it got me through a long meeting.

And the Kind Bar got me through a gridlocked drive home from work.

No driving was happening during the taking of this picture!

I shared the Mamma Chia Chia Squeeze with a friend at work.

We both thought it was pretty good!

I’ve had an 18 Rabbits bar before, and this one was just as good as I remembered.

The One Bar reminded me of fruit leather, but it’s thicker. It provides a serving of fruit with no added sugars, artificial sweeteners, or colors. The ingredient list on the mango flavor in my Kona Kase says it has dried mango, dried pear, apple juice concentrate, inulin fiber, and baobab superfruit, and 70 calories.

I haven’t tried the Cliff Shot or the Osmo Active Hydration (sports drink powder), but I should remember to take them on my next long run.

Overall, I was pleased with the products. I didn’t price them out, but I’d be surprised if the individual prices didn’t add up to more than $15 –these types of bars tend to be expensive.

Do you belong to any monthly subscription clubs?

  2. Kombucha! Perhaps not a snack but a drink 🙂

  3. I just made up some roasted peanuts. The fiber and protein help keep me full!

Love Kind bars! Otherwise, lots of new-to-me goodies… looks great!

  5. I do think these boxes are such a smart idea for people who need on the go snacks! I think I should sign my brother up for a gluten, dairy & egg free box! 😉 Or maybe his GF who can actually eat everything!
