There’s no escaping the fact that I get sweaty when I workout
and even sweatier when I run.
That’s why I have lots of athletic wear to wash in my weekly laundry.
One of the many great products in our Fitbloggin’ swag was the new Febreze® Laundry Odor Eliminator.
You pour it in during the wash cycle, so you can use it for items that you don’t put in the dryer–like all those technical shirts, compression shorts and sports bras.
I don’t like strong scents (some perfumes make me sneezey) but I do love the smell of fresh laundry, and this product gets the scent just right. My clothes smell good when I put them on, but the fragrance doesn’t cling.
It worked on the hamper-full of clothes my son brought home from college over fall break, and it finally got the last bit of “chemical” odor that was keeping me from wearing my GW Parkway Classic shirt.
The people behind the new Febreze® Laundry Odor Eliminator have offered to send a bottle to one of my lucky readers who lives in the continental United States. Here’s how you can enter this giveaway:
- Leave a comment and let me know if you’ve ever had a clothing item that you couldn’t get a stink out of –like my race shirt!

**FTC Notice** I was given a bottle of Febreze® Laundry Odor Eliminator as part of the Fitbloggin’ conference swag. This review reflects my own personal opinion of the product.
I have never had a stink that I could not get out from my workout clothes. I have had to retire workout clothes because of wear and tear and the gross pit stain phenomena. 🙂
My husband's work socks can get pretty bad. I'd love to see if this could help!!
I have a pair of black shorts. My first "workout" shorts that I love because of the pockets. When I stretch I just know they aren't as fresh as they should be!
I've had a few things that I can't get to not stink. And my husband just got some new shoes that smell awful and the stink sticks in his socks. I'd love to try something that isn't perfumy – we both hate that. Cool giveaway!

I don't have clothing in that state, even though I did have to soak some body parts in vinegar to deodorize.
I think maybe the closest would be a towel, but sun-drying it helped get rid of the odor. Otherwise, it still smelled coming out of the wash
My training tshirt from my first marathon
My running clothes get super smelly, especially non wicking ones.
One of my favorite workout shirts has a little stink. Enough that I don't wear it. I need to try this
GOOD LORD MY WHOLE FAM NEEDS!!!

I REALLY WANT TO WIN THIS – lol
There are many items of my hubby's that I'd like to use this for as I have a hard time getting rid of the stink! (I, on the otherhand, never smell bad. Ha! Riiiiiight.)

Amazing! I didn't even know Febreze made a detergent!
I usually go to the gym 5-6 days a week and super sweaty, I have to do a TON of laundry on a regular basis. I would LOVE to use the Febreze laundry to get the stink out of my clothes! 🙂
It's actually something you use with detergent (like fabric softener), just so you know. 😉
Towels are the WORST for trying to get rid of the stink once they have started to get a musty smell. Gross!!
Thanks for the giveaway!

Am going to try this. I sweat A LOT and have had to throw away a bunch of stinky w/o clothes. I use Arm and Hammer Super Washing Soda, which helps, but not always. Thanks for posting

All my race shirts are tough to get de-stinkified, but my long-sleeved shirts are the worst!

My husband works outside in Florida for a construction company and I have a terrible time getting the stink and sweat out of his clothes!
