I usually run at o’dark-thirty or on my treadmill, but I did manage to see some lovely sights on some of my runs this year.
Potomac River/Wilson Bridge from Alexandria, Virginia
Key Biscayne, Florida
Kennedy Center, Washington, D.C.
Boulder, Colorado
Mt. Vernon Trail, Alexandria, Virginia
Mt. Vernon Trail, Alexandria, Virginia
the sights on my runs would all be of the treadmill monitor.
this is far better 🙂
I have plenty of those runs too. They aren't all bad, especially if I have some trashy TV to catch up on. 😉
Oh wow! These are beautiful! This past year I really did get into running and as the winter months have come upon us, I can't bear to get outside! I would love some tips from you if you didn't mind! Please check out my blog site at thewhitedish.wordpress.com. I blog recipes and about fitness. Hope you check it out and leave me some kind advice and motivation! How far do you run? I've only done 5k's and 1 4-miler race. Thanks!
My tips are having good winter running gear (layers!) and getting out before I am awake enough to notice how cold it is! Last year I got a replacement Garmin with a 90-day warranty in December, so I *had* to run outside. If you check out my posts from last winter, you can see what I wore for different weather. A hat, gloves and even a scarf can make a big difference. 🙂
I wish I've mastered the art of taking pictures while running. All of mine are usually stop light shots and cars get into them haha. I love your picture of the MV Trail. It's on of my favorite places 🙂
Show off :p
I'm pretty jealous of all the cool places you get to run while traveling. It's too bad you didn't have more time in Madison when you came, my city is THE BEST!
Wow you did run in some seriously awesome places! Jealous!
Absolutely beautiful!! This is why I love running outside and not the dreaded treadmill at the gym.
