How To Survive Orange Theory Hell Week

I am more than halfway through my third Orange Theory Hell Week. The first year I participated I didn’t know what I was getting into. Last year I didn’t plan on participating, but decided even Hell Week was better than a week of workouts in a sparse hotel gym. If you joined the Ultimate Coffee Date this weekend, you know my husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary this week. How did we mark the day? By riding our bikes 60+ miles—how else?

Celebrataing 30 years

This anniversary cycling tradition started 5 years ago, when we marked our 25th anniversary by riding out to Leesburg for lunch. Last year, we did a full century on our anniverary, but I’m not sure either of us has a burning desire to ride that distance again.
