Halloween In My Hood

My neighborhood always has a few houses that go all out for Halloween, but this year it feels like everyone is killing it. 🦇👻🎃

Trick-or-treat here if you dare!

Halloween In My Hood

Since I walk Scooby at dark o’clock in the morning I appreciate neighbors who keep their displays lit up overnight.

How does a full graveyard impact home value?

Not your friendly neighborhood ghost.

Call the exterminator!

I think this decoration is scarier than it’s intended to be.

Are these kittens cute or creepy?

This cute cat pops out of the pumpkin

The scariest thing about this house is the table saw on the other side of their front yard. I’m not sure if it’s part of the display or a sign of more to come.

This house is a good reminder you never know what’s going on behind closed doors.

Weekly Run Down

Compared to my neighborhood, I’m kind of disappointed in Peloton’s Halloween offerings this year. They didn’t drop new classes until Wednesday even though most were pre-recorded, so I’ve only had a chance to take a few. They didn’t have any Halloween strength classes or any short classes. They did add short “scenic ride” and “scenic run” classes that look pretty cool/creepy, but I haven’t have a chance to take one yet.

With my recently diagnosed DVTs, I eased into the week but was able to run pretty comfortably by the end of the week. 😎

Monday: 10 min Core + 20 min Glutes + Legs + 20 min Low Impact Ride

Tuesday: 20 min Bodyweight Strength + 20 min Walk + Run

Wednesday: 10 min Core + 10 min Arms + Shoulder Strength + 30 min Ride

Camilla as a siren luring us all in with different genres of music.

Thursday: 10 min Warm-Up + 30 min Halloween Run

Hannah and Susie had a lot of fun with the cat vs. dog theme.
Even the playlist has alternating cat/dog songs.

Friday: 20 min Full Body Strength + 30 min Halloween Ride

Ben and Liane as ghouls on the one night of the year
they are allowed back into the disco.

Saturday: Gorgeous 4,3 mile run with Scooby! I was able to run without walk breaks, but let Scooby take his time on his “sniff” breaks.

Nothing scary about this run!

After it warmed up a bit more, we donned our lederhosen kits and got a lot of smiles on our 30 mile ride on the Washington & Old Dominion trail.

A huge thank you to Deborah and Kim for hosting the Weekly Run Down link up.

Did you get a lot of trick-or-treaters this year?
