I’ve been crunched trying to wrap up things at work and tackle my holiday to-do list, so I’m sharing my favorite Christmas carols–including JOY to the World!–for today’s Wednesday Word link-up.
Well, Christmas is almost upon us!
As much as I like to wait until after Thanksgiving
to start getting ready for Christmas,
when December 24th comes around I feel like I haven’t
heard enough of my favorite Christmas carols.
Away In A Manger holds a place in my heart as a childhood favorite.
Silent Night calms my frazzle and helps me reflect on the holy miracle of Jesus’ birth.
What Child Is This? stirs my soul, and I usually find myself singing along with passion.
My heart really does fill with joy when we sing Joy To The World!
at the end of our Christmas Eve service.
What is your favorite Christmas carol?
pretty tree! don’t celebrate christmas, but still love getting in the holiday spirit 🙂 🙂 merry christmas to you!
Everything fro the Bing Crosby CD.
Something about Bing makes me feel Christmas and reminds me of being a kid at home waiting for Santa.
Oh I’ve got that in the stack of CDs I’m rotating today!
My mom loved Christmas Carols and I do enjoy them too. I’ve recently discovered some a capella versions and love them.
Have a wonderful Christmas!
Perhaps I should just play all of these songs over and over again because I have yet to listen to LEGIT XMAS music and… All of the stations I turn to have TERRIBLE STUFF 🙁 Merry XMAS EVE!
Sadly we haven’t listened to even half of our Christmas CDs yet – oops!!!
My all time favorite is O Holy Night but I like most all of them!
Merry Christmas!!!
I realized the same thing this weekend, so I’ve been trying to make up for it!
I love Christmas music! My favorite is Bruce Springstein’s Santa Claus is Coming To Town.
Coco I meant to add happy holidays before I hit the comment button (my husband was distracting me). Wishing you the very best this holiday season and into the new year!
Aw, thanks! Happy holidays to your family too!
your tree looks gorgeous! Merry Christmas and happy holidays Coco! I like anything Bing Crosby or Frank Sinatra this time of year!
I simply love the radio stations that switch to holiday programming. I can’t get enough of it, even the less than favorite songs! Merry Christmas to you!
That’s a hard one to answer! So many. I guess I’d say my all time favorite is Sleigh Ride by the Boston Pops. And anything James Taylor sings. Merry Christmas, Coco!
Joy To The World always makes my heart sing! I’m taking a little ten minute break waiting for the last thing to come out of the oven before wrapping things up and getting ready for church. I will sing that song loud, but unfortunately not well, during mass this evening.
Merry Christmas, my friend! Thanks for linking up!
