Can Chobani Take Me Away From It All?
When I was a kid, these Calgon commercials made “Calgon, take me away!” a silly way to say, “I need a vacation!”
Well, I need a vacation, but I don’t really enjoy bubble baths. On the other hand, I do enjoy eating ChobaniĀ® yogurt, and their new yogurt flavors at least take my taste buds on vacation. š
When I was having a hard time finding the new flavors, ChobaniĀ® was kind enough to offer to send me a case to stop my whining on Twitter because they know how much I love their yogurt.Ā My shipment arrived during the middle of a particularly hectic week at work. I could barely leave my desk–let alone leave town for a real vacation.Ā I made the best of my situation by taking a daily ChobaniĀ® break and imagining where each new flavor was taking me.
I started with the new ChobaniĀ® apricot flavor.
South Australia has major apricot orchards, so I reminisced about my trips to Australia.
The next day, I tried the new ChobaniĀ® coconut flavor.
I was surprised by the little bits of coconut in it,
and imagined that I was on the beach, relaxing under some coconut trees,
with Hula music in the background.
On Friday, I enjoyed the new ChobaniĀ® lime flavor with some fresh-squeezed lemonade.
Just like a tropical vacation, right?
Over the weekend, I tried the new ChobaniĀ® orange vanilla flavor.
I may have been at my son’s indoor lacrosse game,
but I could imagine I was enjoying a dreamsicle by the pool!
Now, I’m sure the newĀ ChobaniĀ® blackberry flavor would have taken me back to Oregon, but I gave those away to friends at work. š
Last week I also received a Kona Kase to review.
Perky Jerky;Ā Enjoy Life Seed & Fruit Mix; Health WarriorĀ Coconut Chia Bar;
Pro BarĀ energy chews;Ā Caveman Cookies; Body Glove Surge Gel;Ā Garukabars
So far the Pro Bar energy chews and Garukabars are my favorite. Ā The energy chews got me through my 42 mile bike ride with no tummy troubles. TheĀ Garukabars got me through a long day at work and has a delicious peanut buttery taste. The seed and fruit mix would be great for someone with nut allergies, because it is nut-free. I sprinkled some on a salad for extra flavor and crunch.
Kona Kase is a monthly subscription that costs only $15 a month (shipping included). For a limited time, you can save even more by using theĀ code GIFTSUMMER at checkout receive $5.00 off your first order.
Have you had a summer vacation?
Have you tried any of the new ChobaniĀ® flavors?
Do you have any food allergies?
No food allergies here (at least as far as I know). I don't eat yogurt, but I do love the orange vanilla flavoring like a dreamsicle. Those were so good! And I am old enough to remember the Calgon commercials. š
Hah! Glad I'm not the only one!
I;ve never tried Chobani in my life!
Why the heck not? š
