This was a tough week. I had a grueling work deadline that kept me burning the midnight oil a few days in a row ā assuming 9 pm counts as āmidnight,ā which it should when I start my work day by 8 am, right? Whenever I took a Facebook break I was assaulted by the outrageous news of the day, and closer to home I have several friends and family members coping with serious health issues. ~sigh~
Even working until 7 pm feels late when I get home after dark!
This week I was back in D.C. for a hectic week of work. It was busy in a good way, but didnāt leave much time for anything else. I managed to eat dinner with my husband once, but afterwards had to finish a project before logging off for the day.
Thereās always one more email to send!
Last week I attended my favorite annual conferenceāthis time in San Diego. I went early to catch up with a client on Saturday, so I had some āmeā time before I had to shift into networking mode.
