Peloton Milestones And September Goals


Here we are at the end of August. I am still working at home, and still working out at home. It’s no surprise then that I have some Peloton milestones to celebrate.

Abnormal August Runfessions

I know we’re supposed to be adapting to a “new normal,” but I prefer to believe we are going through abnormal times that will come to an end. This August certainly hasn’t been a normal August, so as I head over to the runfessional at Marcia’s Healthy Slice I am making a list of my abnormal August runfessions.

Scooby Doo Virtual Run And Other Race Dilemmas


This weekend I did my second virtual race of the summer–the Scooby Doo Virtual Run. This is one of many 100% virtual races that have become so popular in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. While I’m not usually interested in virtual races, with a canine running buddy named Scooby, how could I resist this one?

When Will We Get Back To Precedented Times?

Last week in an address to the partners, the Chairman of my law firm said, “When the pandemic ends–and it will end–….” I’m sure his plans for the future are important, but what I really needed to hear was the reminder that eventually, someday, this too shall pass, and we will get back to more precedented times.

The overuse of “unprecedented times” in every conversation and news story bothers me because there are much worse “challenging times” in the history of human civilization, but this meme is one of my favorites.

Pelothon 2020 Week 4 Workouts

Week four of Peloton’s 2020 Pelothon challenge was a sprint to the finish. The challenge goal was to take one of six specific classes. Sounds easy enough, right?
