I hope you had a lovely Christmas, whether you celebrate the holiday or just enjoyed the day.
We had nice weather for being outside,
but I didn’t venture far beyond the glow of our tree.
And just like that it’s almost Christmas! Between Thanksgiving falling late and my trip to Tampa and Chicago, I am way behind on my to-do list, but Christmas is coming, ready or not.

I’ve unpacked from my last trip of the year and it was another double header. This time I went to Tampa for one set of firm meetings and then Chicago for another. I don’t know why the organizers didn’t coordinate and pick one place—preferably the warmer one— but I made the most of it by having my husband join me in Florida before I went on to Chicago. 
Instead of a day-by-day recap, I’m going to share highlights from each locale.
