Fun Fact: I’m A Runrise Runner

I’m speaking at a conference next week, and the moderator asked for a “fun fact” and associated photo she can include in her introductions. Since this legal conference actually has a fitness focus, I decided to go with “Courtenay is an avid runner and especially likes to chase after sunrise pictures.” I gave her a copy of the photo I think was worth the price of my fractured rib and lived up to my self-professed passion this weekend.

Getting Control Of My 2023 Goals

People who have to live, work, or spend extended periods of time with me might say that I am a bit of a control freak. I am happy to let others take the lead and make decisions, but if I am responsible for whatever is going on, I want to make sure it is done right. There’s nothing wrong with that, is there?
