Last weekend was my first weekend at home in a few weeks, and I was looking forward to an 8 mile run on a familiar running route. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate. While we were willing to run in light rain, neither of us wanted to run in a heavy downpour. We each checked various weather apps and traded text messages for about 1/2 hour until we admitted defeat. We canceled our plans and I decided to get my 8 miles in on a treadmill.
I am still loving all things salted caramel, and still finding decadent ways to enjoy that taste sensation. This Trader Joe’s dark chocolate salted caramel bar is one of my latest finds:

One thing I love about fitness blogging conferences is that they usually have several workout sessions on the program, and often have exercise classes that I haven’t tried before. FitSocial was no exception. In addition to the pre-conference hike up Mount Sanitas, there was at least one exercise class each day.
This is the first year since I started this blog that I haven’t written weekly Army Ten Miler Training Log posts. If I’m honest with myself, I’d admit that’s because this is the first year that I haven’t trained for the Army Ten Miler. Even though I stayed up late to register and do plan to run this weekend, it just hasn’t been a priority.
I was intrigued when I first saw the signs and flyers for Giant Pick-Up service at my local Giant food store. I’ve used their Peapod grocery delivery service before, but have a hard time paying extra for grocery delivery when I live so close to the store.
When I received a coupon for savings off my first order, I decided to give it a try.
