Superb September Coffee Date

Welcome to the ☀️ September ☀️ Ultimate Coffee Date! Labor Day fell as early as possible this year, which makes it seem like we are gathering for coffee late, but it’s always a good time to get together and share what is going on in our lives. Deborah and I are happy to host this virtual coffee date link-up and are glad you joined us.

Superb September Coffee Date

If we were having coffee, I would tell you I like the new Starbucks in-app greeting much better than the “you again?!” message it had before. 🤣

If we were having coffee, I would tell you I thought it was April Fools’ Day when I saw a story about this new ice cream flavor.

😳🤔🫣

I thought there couldn’t be a worse idea until I heard about
this offering from Smoothie King.

🤢🤢🤢

Speaking of tomatoes, if we were having coffee, I would tell you I am getting tired of my Aerogarden tomato plants, but they are doing so well I can’t bring myself to pull them out.

These are smaller than cherries—so cute!

If we were having coffee, I would tell you I’m heading to San Diego for my first business trip of the fall conference season. I’ll have some time Sunday morning and am trying to figure out if I can get to Cowles Mountain for a hike or if I should just go for a run in Balboa Park. Tough choices, I know!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

Breast-milk ice cream and ketchup smoothies?? Really???
I’m not much of an ice cream fan, but when I do have some, it’s plain vanilla all the way – the plainer the better!
Cowles Mountain sounds interesting! Let’s see what you will choose.

  2. Debbie says:

Enjoy your trip to San Diego (as much as you can for a business trip). I bet you’ll pick the run through Balboa Park.

Ugh on the ice cream and smoothie flavor choices! I rarely drink smoothies and when I do, it’s usually peach or maybe strawberry flavored. For ice cream I’m a big fan of either mint chocolate chip or some sort of chocolate and can’t say I’ve experimented with any unusual flavors.

    • Coco says:

I usually get mint chocolate chip. I tried garlic flavor once at the beach. It was as bad as it sounds! I had Taro flavor at Thai restaurant and it tasted like potato chips!

  3. Michelle says:

I don’t know what to say about that ice cream flavor or the smoothie! :0 I’m a big ice cream fan but nothing too exotic – I let Ben & Jerry’s be my guide lol.

Have a good trip to San Diego – both options sound good, can’t wait to hear which you choose!

  4. Your tomatoes look great! That whole aero garden never worked for me unfortunately. I am so not a green thumb!

  5. Jenny says:

Breast milk? Ketchup? What is even going on??? Someone is going to have to try these (not me, of course) and report back.
Have a great trip! San Diego is beautiful.

  6. Marcia says:

Oh gosh now I’m nauseous. I don’t even like the idea of Mrs. Meyers tomato vine counter spray. A ketchup smoothie sounds absolutely gross. Balboa park never disappoints but Cowles Mountain sounds amazing too!

  7. Jenn says:

I knew it was tomato girl summer, but ketchup smoothies? Really? No thank you. And no thank you to breast milk flavored anything. We are truly lost!

  8. Are you sure that someone is not punking you?! WTF? Is that some MAHA thing? I have tried some good savory flavors but hard no on ketchup (as much as I love it!)

Have fun in San Diego! Are you coming to my favorite “hellscape” any time soon?

  9. Renée says:

what on earth???? breast milk ice cream and ketchup smoothies???? come on!!!

have a great time in San Diego! Definitely hit up Balboa Park if you have time!

  10. Oh my, ketchup-flavored???? Breast milk flavored anything??? Both are huge hard passes for me. Enjoy your time in San Diego!

  11. Cari says:

I mean gazpacho is basically a ketchup smoothie and I could eat it 10x/day, but that is just no no no
    Safe travels
If you have time for a sunset. Just magical

  12. Farrah says:

Both of those flavor options are horrifying, hahaha.

The success of your aerogarden makes me wonder if that’s one way I could finally keep edible plants alive, haha. 😅

I hope you have fun in San Diego! I’m going there next month to visit friends and hang out! :]
