Three Things Thursday Best Body Boot Camp Style
I can’t believe that we are already finished with phase three of Tina’s Best Body Boot Camp. That means we are six weeks through the eight week program already!
In her week six newsletter, Tina gave us an exercise to do to reflect on our journey so far. Keeping with the theme of threes, she asked us to provide three thoughts on each of three topics. Here’s what I came up with. Continue reading
ViSalus Vi-Shape Oatmeal Raisin Chocolate Chip Cookies (Gluten-Free)
When ViSalus asked me to contribute to their 90 for 90 recipe collection using their Vi-Shape® nutritional shake mix, I wasn’t sure that I could come up with a recipe good enough to share with others, but after I tested out the product that they sent me in three of my favorite recipes, I ended up with three recipes that I definitely will be making again.I guess there is a reason they call Vi-Shape®

My First Spin Class
Last week I went to my first spin class, thanks to Carly! Even though we follow each other’s blogs and live and work pretty close to each other, we hadn’t seen each other in person since we met at Fitbloggin’ 12. We were making plans to rectify that, and she invited me to join her at a spin class at RevolveDC–which is in Clarendon, Virginia, by the way!
I was a bit nervous, but Carly answered all my emails about what to wear, what to bring, and what time to get there–and even sent an up-to-date-tweet about where to park. Carly also had roped in invited Ashley and Ericka, and RevolveDC was in on the fun, and psyched us up with tweets throughout the day. (Thanks, Amber!) I love a company that gets the “social” of social media! Continue reading
Book Review A Paris Wife, And The Mountains Echoed
I’ve got two books to tell you about this month, one that I really enjoyed and one that I had high hopes for, but found meh.
Let’s start with the best one, The Paris Wife: A Novel, by Paula McLain.
