Taking 10,000 Steps Over 2400 Miles

I hope you have heard about the #WYCWYC movement started by Roni Noone and championed by Carla Birnberg. The WYCWYC website explains it this way:

Born from a longing to end perfectionist tendencies and the “start tomorrow” mindset, the #wycwyc movement reminds us doing what we can when we can is enough. There is no starting over, no magic day of the week, no throwing away the day. By doing what we can when we can we will reach our goals.

Doing something is ALWAYS better than doing nothing and Incremental shifts add up to change over time.

My First Impression Of The Fresh Market Grocery Store

The Fresh Market Review

I was ridiculously excited for the grand opening of the new Fresh Market grocery store near my house. The shopping center it moved into used to have two grocery stores–a Giant and a Safeway–but they both closed this summer, leaving me without a grocery store on my way home from work. (The Giant I usually shop at is close to home, but not between my house and my office.)

Hotel Room Workouts

I had a quick business trip to California last week, with two days of traveling for a one day meeting. I didn’t want to adjust to the time difference for such a short trip, so when I woke up at 3:30 am local time, I decided to get up and see what I could put together for hotel room workouts.

I can’t believe that January already has come and gone and here we are several days into February already! A new month means it’s time for a new round of goal setting.
