Peloton Halloween Tricks And Treats

I’ve always loved Halloween and Peloton helps me get into the 🎃holiday spirit 🎃 with so many fun classes—from silly to spooky. 👻💀 On the other hand, I think my office complex goes overboard with Halloween-themed decor to attract selfie-taking tourists.

Plus, nothing is as scary as the closed Starbucks😱

A few items would be fun, but the mish-mash of characters ranging from the Nightmare on Elm Street to Minions to the Addams Family to the Washington Commanders (yes, the football team—although they do need to come back to life …) is just tacky.

Peloton Halloween Tricks And Treats

Peloton dropped new Halloween classes this year, including a series based on The Jason Universe and several Lady Gaga-themed classes to celebrate Gagaween.  I also took a few classes from prior years that I had missed.

Rebecca Kennedy led this strength class as news anchor Harmonica Morningtoast, with breaking news of some questionable Peloton gossip.

This class was in German, but the format was simple enough to follow—and learn how to count down from fünf to eins.

I don’t know he he kept a straight face— the alien look had me cracking up!

Coach Candy Andy led me through the workout I needed to train for trick-or-treating, including trick-or-treat bucket carries (farmer’s carries), candy grabs (single arm rows), and stuffing your face with as much candy as possible (modified plank shoulder taps). 🤭

Sam Yo chose a spooky Broadway playlist for his Halloween ride—and his costume was creepy too.

Both Robin and D.J. John Michael dressed up for their Halloween class. I literally laughed out loud watching him dance in his He-Man suit.

Camila deserves an Oscar for her Jason Universe class. She was a counseler at Crystal Lake Camp leading us on a hike through the woods—but would we all make it back?

She did not break character for one second!

Susie Chan has the best playlists for her Halloween runs—and some great costumes.

In a twist on the I woke up like this meme, she joked that they decided she didn’t need the wig they’d planned on—her hair was giving enough naturally witchy vibes. 🧙‍♀️

Scooby accompanied me on three runs this week—every one started and ended in the dark.

On Halloween, we stopped to appreciate my favorite house in the neighborhood.

They really went all out!

There are still a few more Halloween classes I want to take—including Rebecca Kennedy’s Jason Universe Bootcamp and Jess King’s ride.

A huge thank you to Deborah and Kim for hosting the Weekly Run Down link up.

Please make plans to join Deborah and me for the Ultimate Coffee Date on Friday! Maybe we’ll have hot cider too. 🍎 🍁

You always make these Peloton theme weeks sound so entertaining, Coco! “Harmonica Morningtoast”, haha! Who comes up with these things? 😂 Camila’s full commitment to the Jason Universe class is impressive.
And yes, a closed Starbucks really is the ultimate horror story!

  2. Debbie says:

It sounds like you really enjoyed the Halloween themed Peloton classes! And I’m sure Scooby loved that you were able to run with him, too!

  3. Jenn says:

Scooby will for sure be loving brighter mornings soon enough!

The Halloween runs and rides sound great! I love when people really lean into a theme.

  4. Jenny says:

Well, I don’t mind when Halloween is weird and tacky- I love it when people go all out. The Peloton classes sound really fun, and it looks like you had some dark and spooky runs just like I did this week. Well- onward to November and more daylight in the mornings! I’m looking forward to it.

  5. You had a great mix of Halloween, both with the classes and the instructors! I didn’t do any of the Halloween-themed classes, but I might try to sneak in a few this week. Thanks for the suggestions 😉

  6. Deborah Brooks says:

You sure did hit all of the fun Halloween classes! I need to grab some of those this week. Nice job on your workouts this week

  7. Cari says:

    OK your neighborhood house wins.
The work one didn’t faze me – I think because everything here is a mish mash.
I need to do some of these classes!

    • Coco says:

Maybe next year I’ll take a video and you can see the full scope of ridiculousness — they’re all over both levels of that outdoor area. Plus I think they’ve had these decorations for 5 years, so some are looking pretty shabby!

  8. What a fun week of Halloween themed workouts! Do the instructors look like they ever made a bad choice with their costume? Some of those outfits look quite detailed and maybe not athletic! I agree – your closed Starbucks is pretty scary! Bummer.

    • Coco says:

There’s one cycling class where the instructor is wearing a giant pumpkin costume — definitely not athletic, but hysterical to watch!

  9. Jessie says:

Love all the Halloween costumes! And the mish-mash of decorations at your offie is hilarious…too funny!

Sounds like a fun and festive week Coco!
