What You Don’t Know About Me

I’m pretty sure Lacey, Meranda and Rachel intended today’s Friday Five 2.0 topic to be an easy one, but after six years of blogging, it’s hard to come up with something you don’t already know about me!

Coco - 4th Birthday

Perhaps you didn’t know I wore my hair in pigtails when I was four?

1. You already know that I married my high school sweetheart.

2. You already know  that I am a patent attorney,
and you even have seen the views out my office window.

My colleagues and I wrote this book on the America Invents Act.

3. You know that I love sunrises–and I’ve seen some spectacular ones.

4. You know that I love Starbucks
even when the baristas don’t love me back.

So, what don’t you know about me?

5. Do you know I’m left-handed?

Left Hand Brewing Company is almost around the corner from my daughter,
but I enjoyed their IPA at a local Oktoberfest!

Make sure you visit the Friday Five 2.0 link up hosted at Fairytales and Fitness and Running on Happy and find out what you don’t already know about your other favorite bloggers.

  1. Love this! I always wanted to be left-handed when I was little so I tried to force myself to write with that hand. Turns out you can’t always decide those kinds of things 😉

  2. I don’t think I knew you were a leftie. I figured that everyone knew all they needed to know about me as well, so I went with a brain dump today!

  3. I thought it was hard to come up with 5 things too! I did not know you were a lefty 🙂 Still think it’s impressive that you wrote a book. See you for coffee

  4. I’m not left-handed, but am pretty ambidextrous…probably that “art geek” thing in me LOL I took a pass on the link-up today, so I’ll be linking “for coffee” with you in the morning 😉

  5. I had surgery on my right elbow and had to use my left hand for 6 weeks and I could barely brush my hair. I learned not to take things for granted and still sometimes try and use my left hand more often.

  6. Well this is my first time stopping by so this is all new information for me! I am a lefty as well. 🙂 A patent attorney sounds like an interesting job! When I run, I listen to podcasts, and I remember listening to one all about patents. This was a couple years ago. I don’t remember much but I do remember it being very interesting!

  7. Ana says:

I’ve only been around for a few months, so this is all new information to me. Thanks for sharing!

    Starbucks is awesome!

That is one spectacular view !!
does living in a righty world stress you out?

  8. I think my husband would drink Left Hand Milk Stout or Black Jack Porter all day every day if he worked near Left Hand! I may or may not join him…

  9. vicki says:

I’m a lefty too… although I was forced to learn to throw with my right hand because my dad bought my a softball glove for my left hand.

    • Coco says:

Hah! That’s one way to learn. I think lefties do learn to do some sports right-handed because that’s the only way their coaches now how to show them.

  10. I always find it hard to think of five things about myself (whether people know them or not!) – I think “there are so many things, but what’s interesting?” I guess that’s just another thing about me – I over analyze EVERYTHING!
I’m glad to have learned new things, since I didn’t know any of these things!

  11. Rachel says:

I don’t think I knew any of these things about you! Thanks for sharing 🙂

  12. I am also left handed. I was with my high school boyfriend for many many years and I thought we would always end up together. But we recently broke up the other year and now I am not sure. However, we still remain great friends. That is truly something special. I love hearing about high school sweethearts making it. Congrats to you two!
