My AdventWord Global Advent Calendar

Merry Christmas!

hope

I’ve always loved advent calendars, and this year I participated in the Global Advent Calendar sponsored by the Society of Saint John the Evangelist on Instagram using the hashtag AdventWord. Each day had a different word and devotional readings to go with it. I enjoyed choosing my own images and seeing how others interpreted the word and were celebrating the season. I hope you enjoy my contributions!

While I’ve participated in lots of Instagram challenges, this is the first one I actually completed. I credit that to the daily emails that I received every morning with the #AdventWord of the day and a short devotional. I also liked the open-ended nature of the challenge and enjoyed giving thought to the word, and selecting an image and message to share.

Since my advent calendar has five sets of pictures, I’m joining the Friday Five link up hosted at Eat Pray Run DCMar on the Run and You Signed Up for What?! 😉

I hope you’re having a Merry Christmas!

Have you participated in any good Instagram challenges?
