Beach Eats

For this week’s What I Ate Wednesday post, I thought I would share some of my favorite beach eats. While I didn’t eat all of these meals on the same day, they do work out to a day’s worth of meals!

I actually had this breakfast for lunch on the day we rode to Bethany Beach.

The spinach and feta omelet and whole grain toast were just what I needed
to refuel for the ride back to Rehoboth Beach.

When my husband was craving Grotto’s pizza, but I wasn’t in the mood for a heavy lunch, this Greek salad was perfect. I ordered it with a hard boiled egg for extra protein and staying power, and washed it down with birch beer–my favorite beach drink.

Well, actually, it’s a toss up between birch beer and this sangria …..

My husband enjoyed this lobster dinner so much, he had it twice.

Lucky for me he was willing to share.

Have you ever had birch beer?

Do you have a favorite food you get at the beach?

  1. Oh – that Greek salad looks delicious!! And, it has been awhile since I've had lobster (hard to come by in KS!) but that looks pretty good.
I don't think I've ever had birch beer – might have to try some!

  2. I actually NEVER go to the beach. I don't like sand and I am scared of sharks. Yes, I think they're going to crawl out of the water and eat me! LOL!!!!

If I did go to the beach though, DEFINITELY seafood on my plate! That LOBSTERRRRR looks fantastic!

I'm not sure if you regularly vacation at Rehobeth, but you have to check out the Royal Treat for breakfast! It fills up fast, so get there early 🙂 They also have fantastic ice cream!
